I came across this beautiful quote today and I thought to myself - what a coincidence.
Few days back I was in a coaching session where I was the coaching client. I was in a dilemma on a certain aspect of my life. I planned to take the help of a coach to find me a way forward.
During our conversation, she asked me "Where do you see yourself doing 5 years hence? ".
I shared my future goal as well as shared of what I will be doing then. She then asked me to stay there and from there look at my current self. It was a moment of awakening-The meeting of eternity if I may say as it was in that moment I saw the journey that I will be traversing to reach my future self ( Journey from my current self to future self). At that very moment, my dilemma is all gone and I was filled with excitement. I was filled with joy and suddenly I felt at peace with myself. It was such a surreal feeling - a feeling which I am not able to describe fully.
My biggest lesson learnt in that coaching conversation is that - We all need a coach or a mentor in our life to untangle the knots of life and enable us to move forward.
As I embark on my journey of self discovery, I would like to remind myself of this quote from Bill Gates.
